ABOUT GREENHOUSE LANDSCAPES

GreenHouse Landscapes opened in 2024, but our experience in the landscape industry goes back more than ten years across horticulture, design, and outdoor construction. Our roots started in garden centres and nurseries, where we learned plant care, soil health, and how outdoor spaces grow and evolve over time. One of our co‑owners grew up in a family-owned plant nursery, learning the fundamentals long before landscaping became a profession.

Another co‑owner studied industrial design for three years before moving into landscaping. That training in spatial planning, technical drawing, and design principles shapes how we plan and visualize outdoor spaces today. It gives us a design‑driven perspective that most landscaping companies don’t have.

As our skills developed, we moved into hardscaping and full landscape builds, combining horticultural knowledge with hands‑on experience in stone yards, construction sites, and outdoor renovations. GreenHouse Landscapes was created to bring all of that together: thoughtful design, proper planning, and clean, lasting workmanship.

OUR STORY

Before starting GreenHouse, we spent years working across different parts of the landscape industry, garden centres, nurseries, stone yards, and construction crews. Over time, we noticed a gap: homeowners wanted more than a basic build. They wanted outdoor spaces that were designed with intention, built properly, and tailored to their home and lifestyle.

That idea became the foundation of GreenHouse Landscapes: a design‑forward and detail‑driven landscaping company serving Mississauga, Toronto, Etobicoke, Oakville, Vaughan, Brampton, Milton, and the GTA.

When it’s time to build, we focus on proper preparation, clean workmanship, and long‑lasting construction. Our goal is simple: create outdoor spaces that look good on day one — and stay that way for years.

OUR GROWTH & QUALIFICATIONS

After years of experience in the industry we are committed to continuous improvement and professional development. Our team is currently completing the Horticulture Technician Pre‑Apprenticeship Program, which includes the full Level 1 Apprenticeship Training recognized by Skilled Trades Ontario. This is the first major step toward earning the Red Seal Certification, the highest standard in the trade.

This formal training ensures we stay current with industry standards, best practices, and modern construction techniques. It strengthens our expertise in plant health, soil science, grading, drainage, and landscape construction, allowing us to deliver work that is both technically sound and built to last, only the highest quality for our customers.
